De' Noantri

Sensational pizza, forget Due Forni. That’s their humble Facebook description. Due Forni happens to be a pizza place in Prenzlauer Berg supposedly serving the best pizzas in Berlin.

The pizza and pasta make you long for the next time. But be warned: if you have one of the delicious starters, you’ll probably feel that you can’t eat the whole pizza. If against all odds you still have some room left for dessert, choose one of the Italian classics, like tiramisu and pana cotta (cooked cream). Or just finish your meal with a full-bodied espresso.

The menu is in Italian, and you can find a German translation at the bottom of the page. The walls outside are covered with graffiti. Maybe it has the same effect as the graffiti on the buildings where people live? It sometimes helps to keep the rent down. In any case, the food here has a very reasonable price, and it is totally lecker. On Fridays and Saturdays evening it is recommended to reserve a table, but during the day it’s pretty easy to get a seat.

Like in many other restaurants and bars in Berlin, credit cards are not accepted. Same as with the German EC card. Cash is king!
