Maroush
Small Lebanese restaurant with tasty doner kebab and falafel. Choose between different vegetarian or meat dishes. The food is prepared quite quickly to take away or eat in.
Their tabbouleh (a parsley salad from the Middle East) is really tasty, as is the kebab, served with delicious bread. They also have fine tea made with fresh peppermint leaves.
This cozy restaurant with a Lebanese interior is very popular and usually full. But most of the time it's possible to squeeze in between other hungry guests. Because Maroush is more like a joint, people don't tend to stay long, so you only wait a couple of minutes for a seat. There are also some seats outside where you can indulge in some people-watching on this busy street leading to Kreuzberg's well-known Oranienstrasse, a shopping street packed with pubs.
